FAQ’s

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about my services.  Please be sure to read them all as many questions are answered here but feel free to reach out at any time! I can be contacted via phone at 479-238-4451 or email april@aprilparkphotos.com and I will be happy to chat about the process and what to expect.

How much are your session fees?

I offer a variety of different sessions and fees vary based on what is involved. My basic family sessions start at $400, which includes the session fee, $125 print credit as well as web-sized files of all printed poses for social media sharing. Weddings start at $1500 and packages vary depending on your specific needs but all packages include an engagement session. Please read further to find out more information about what is included.

What can I expect when booking a session?

The first thing I like to do is set up an initial consultation.  This is free of charge and puts you under no obligation to book anything with me.  It’s basically a get to know each other session.  I like people to be comfortable with me before I ever point the camera at them.  We will go over your vision and expectations and my contract for services.  If you decide to go ahead and book a session with me there is a 30% non-refundable retainer required in order to reserve the date and time for the actual shoot.

How long will it take before I can see my photos?

Generally speaking I ask for two weeks to do all the edits but often they are completed quicker than that.  Some events, such as weddings, may take four weeks.

What happens when the photos are done?

When your photos are completed we will set up a time to meet so you can see your photos in person and place orders for prints.  I offer a variety of print sizes plus specialty items such as graduation announcements for seniors, gallery wraps, metal prints, and many more.

How much are prints?

Print costs vary by size and there are far too many options to list here.  My options include regular and mounted prints, canvas, wood and metal prints as well as books and albums.  For more information please contact me!

Do you offer digital images?

Digital photos are not included in the price of your photo session.  I very strongly believe photos are investments and should be displayed.  Too many times people get a disk of images and throw them in a drawer or put them on a hard drive never to be looked at again.  However, any photo that you print will also come with a web-sized digital that is sized for sharing on social media and I do have pricing available if you choose to purchase a digital collection.

Do you do boudoir photos?

I do boudoir photos on a limited schedule. I work with a hair and makeup artist and currently the only day available for boudoir is Sunday mornings. As with all my photo sessions I require a consultation. It’s even more important with boudoir sessions because my goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with me prior to your shoot. I am extremely passionate about boudoir photos because it’s my belief that all women deserve to feel confident and amazing about themselves.
